Sara Lorimer
I’m just trying to make myself feel better about buying a house at the absolute peak of the housing bubble. Wait, do bubbles peak? Anyway… I’ve been writing this blog — formerly known as It’s Lovely! I’ll Take It! — since May 2008. I joined forces with I Can Haz Cheezburger in the summer of 2009, and now my LOLcat overlords do the tech side and the voting pages. This leaves me free to dedicate more time to my excellent Photoshop skills, and also to try to do the tech side and voting pages and to mess it all up.
I read every single comment, and love them all. Well, I love them most. I should put it out in public that “It puts the lotion on its skin” has been said before, it will be said again, and I will delete it every time I spot it because people a) I hate it, and b) people say it about every single house. Other than that, I heart my commenters.
Post #1,000 went up in October 2009.
I haven’t missed a day in over two years.
Should I be concerned?
I write books!
You could read them, if you like.
Booty: Girl Pirates on the High Seas.
True tales of female pirates throughout history.
Pregnancy To-Do’s: a Book of Lists for Moms-to-Be.
Pregnant? Like “to do” lists? Have I got the book for you!
What’s with the Chair?
I really can’t explain it, but it all began here.
Lovely Listing is a Cheezburger Network homestead.

You too? What state?
Washington.
Me too! Kirkland. According to Zillow, I’ve lost 122k in home value since purchasing almost 3 years ago.
Sara, I love reading your blogs! Thanks for making me smile… through the grinding, sometimes hopeless work day.
You are a welcome comic relief from the endless madness of being a first-time homebuyer trying to get a short sale. Thanks!
Oh, you’re brave. We’re thinking of looking into short sales, but it’s intimidating.
Just wanted you to know I really appreciate your wonderful sense of humor and your amazing record of posting everyday! (You could take a day off, now and then…) : )
I always check your site first, every night after turning on my Mac, and you (and your comment crew) always make me smile. <3
Thanks so much for making so many people happy !
I love your snark. You are my people.
You’re so funny, Sara. Keep up the good work!
Do you honestly play the accordion? Most excellent! I am planning to learn this summer. I hope. If my family can stand it. =D
I don’t, sadly. It’s an aspirational accordion.
Okay…I will if you will.. hee! =D
